This takes about 5 minutes and you only do it once. After that, signing in just means one extra 6-digit code from your phone.
Open the App Store (iPhone) or Play Store (Android) and search for:
Install it and open it once.
Go to the CRM and tap Sign in with Google as you normally do.
You will now see a page called Two-step verification showing a key — a line of letters and numbers in groups of four. Leave that page open.
In the app:
Then fill in:
Tap Add.
Tip: use the Copy key button on the CRM page, then paste it into the app. That avoids typing mistakes. On a phone you can also tap Open in authenticator app and it may fill everything in for you.
Your app now shows ASG Commercial with a 6-digit number that changes every 30 seconds.
Type that number into the 6-digit code box on the CRM page and tap Verify and sign in.
If the number is about to change, wait for the new one so it does not expire while you type.
You will be asked for a code every time you sign in, on every device. The CRM also signs everyone out each night, so expect to do this once a day.
Wait for the number to change and try the new one, typing it before it refreshes. If it keeps failing, check your phone’s clock is on automatic (Settings → Date & Time → “Set automatically”). These codes depend on the exact time. If you typed the key by hand, one wrong letter or number will make every code wrong — delete the entry and add it again using Copy key.
No problem. Sign in with Google again and the set-up page will appear again. If you already added the key to your app, you can keep using that entry and just enter its code. If the codes never work, delete the entry from your app and start again from Step 2.
Contact the administrator (Husain) and ask them to reset your two-step sign-in. Your next Google sign-in will then show the set-up page again and you repeat the steps above.
After 5 wrong codes the CRM stops that attempt as a safety measure. Just sign in with Google again and enter a fresh code.
Never. Do not send your key or a 6-digit code to anyone — not by WhatsApp, email or phone — even if they say they are from ASG or the CRM. The administrator will never ask for them.
